As you probably have gathered by now, I'm Sneha. I am the owner of, and creative brains behind, Artsploring LLC. At the moment, I wear all the hats for my business,  and while it can be (pull-out-your-hair-in-chunks, grit-your-teeth-till-they-are-nubs) challenging at times, I love every minute of it!

I consider myself super lucky that I get to work from home, while enjoying time with my husband of 15 years, our little people (we have 2 boys - a soon-to-be 13 year old (WHAA?), and a newly-minted 6 year old), and our beautiful little 1.5 year old pup, Sita.

​

Though I started my journey using traditional media, my go to medium is digital, and I use everything from Procreate to Adobe products especially Illustrator and Photoshop, to create my work. 

​

I started Artsploring for many reasons - mainly as a way to express myself creatively, but also with the intent and hope of inspiring young people who look and sound like me, to know that it is possible to be an artist in a space where are are shockingly few of us around!  

​

My work reflects my love for food, travel, nature, and nighttime (yeah, you read that right... I LOVE serene clear night skies, and find them immensely therapeutic).

​

So, to wrap things up here, I am going to leave you with this little tidbit of information about myself - I LOVE LISTS. I find them to be an insanely easy way to digest information. And, since I love to read lists of random facts about people I follow (because I'm a curious kitty, but also because I truly like getting to know the people behind the businesses I love to support), I thought I'd share a little (or not) list of facts about myself. Some are fun, some are funny, and some are just plain weird. LOL. Let's go!

• I am an Indian, from Mangalore, who has lived pretty much lived most of my life outside of India. I grew up in Bahrain, then UAE, studied for a year in Peterborough, Canada, and have called Georgia, USA home for the last 12 years!
   

• Art and crafting has always been a huge part of my life, and one of the most meaningful things that I still hold dear to my heart from my childhood is a box of color pencils and watercolor cakes that I won as first prize at an art competition when I was 12 or 13.
   

• I have a Masters in International Business, and decided to undertake this 360 degree pivot to the creative field of art in my late 30s!
   

• I am a REAL HONEST-TO-GOD course junkie - I try and learn at least one new thing everyday! I discovered my love for learning as a full-grown adult. I could've totally used that zeal when I was in school... SMH.
   

• I love even numbers... I used to be OCD about this before, but I after a lot of self-initiated work, I have learned that odd isn't bad... when it comes to numbers or my personality traits! :D
   

• I met my husband on Flickr (is that even still around??). He lived in Bangalore, and I lived in UAE at the time, and I knew before we even met in person that we were meant to be together! So I decided to move to Bangalore, and the rest as they say, is his- and her- story!
   

• I am vegan, and have been for almost 13 years! 
   

• Audiobooks > physical books for me! I love the ability to listen to audiobooks while doing things I love doing like drawing and cooking, and also while doing things I don't love doing, like the dishes. 
   

• I listen to anything at at least 2x the normal speed - I find that it really helps me assimilate the information better!
   

• I love to cook and bake, and I harbor a dream of someday having an illustrated cookbook with recipes native to the region of India my parents hail from!
   

• I LOVE Harry Potter! Its my Favorite. Book. Ever. I try and read it at least once every 2 years. My kids are huge fans too, and we've been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando twice already now. I am currently trying to figure out how to get my husband to approve our next visit there! Any ideas are more than welcome! :D
   

• I am extremely animated and tend to be very passionate about EVERYTHING! (maybe those words in ALL CAPS were a giveaway? :D)
